Marc Siegel, Spa Entrepreneur was initially, the Director of Tennis at the Fontainebleau Hilton Resort. He worked with Hilton Hotels Corporation (Manager) and the Muss Organization (Owner) to develop Hilton’s first spa in North America. To that end, Spa-Vest, Inc. was formed to jointly undertake this expansive endeavor.
Marc Siegel and the company conducted the branding, design, development, construction supervision, training, operations/management, marketing and sales (memberships, guest usage, convention service programs, packages and retail), advertising/promotion (internal and external), menu creation, and retail programming.
In so doing, they created department specific (SOP) standard operating procedures manuals; providing organizational structure, departmental operating protocol, and service procedure instructions to develop a solid foundation for this branded spa platform.

The Spa at the Fontainebleau Hilton, was a great success from the onset and exceeded all expectations. A Condé Nast award recipient in its first year of operations, Marc Siegel developed, the now famous membership advertising campaign “WHY JOIN A SPA, WHEN YOU CAN JOIN A RESORT?” and garnered a record breaking 3,000 members by the close of the opening year.
Premised on the aforementioned results, Hilton Hotels Corporation and The Muss Organization overwhelmingly agreed to expand, using Marc Siegel Spa Entrepreneur’s one-source service platform. Upon completion, The Spa at the Fontainebleau Hilton featured 40,000 square feet of air-conditioned and 10,000 square feet of exterior space with a staff of over 300 persons.
The Spa at the Fontainebleau Hilton continued operating profitably for many years and through continually exceeding expectations, Marc Siegel was provided multiple projects moving forward with Hilton Hotels Corporation.
